Pietro Fasolino, President
Term Expires: 2022

Pietro Fasolino has lived in the Rye Neck School District for 30 years and is a Rye Neck graduate, Class of 1995.  Pietro graduated Flagler College with a B.A. in Communications and minors in History and Political Science.  Pietro is the owner of AEF Sales, a representative, engineering and design firm, serving New York City and New England.

Pietro and his wife Cindy, also a Rye Neck graduate, Class of 1994, have three children attending Rye Neck.  The children are the fourth generation of the family to attend Rye Neck.

Pietro served on the Committee for Special Education and has been the Co-Board Representative to the District Safety Team and Co-Board Representative to the Facilities Advisory Committee, working to ensure our children will thrive in a safe and modern educational environment.  Pietro will be serving as a Board President for the 2019-20 school year.


Jennifer Rubin, Vice President 
Term Expires: 2020

A life-long resident of Westchester, Jennifer has been living in Rye Neck for over 20 years.  She attended New York University where she received her Master's Degree in Biology/Neuroscience.  For the past 15 years, Jennifer has enjoyed teaching at the Early Childhood Center in Rye.  She and her husband Jeff have three children:  two boys, one in the Middle School and the other in the High School, and their daughter, a recent Rye Neck graduate who is attending college.

Jennifer has been actively involved in Rye Neck since 2005, where she first volunteered as Head Class Parent in her daughter's kindergarten classroom. She is a dedicated member of the PTSA previously serving on the Budget Committee and holding positions on the Executive Committee as the Vice President of Bellows, the Vice President of the Middle School and Corresponding Secretary.  Additionally, Jennifer has served on the High School Principal's Advisory Committee and the District's Programs and Priorities Committee lending a voice to discussions on the school budget and valued programs.

Jennifer looks forward to serving again as Vice President of the Rye Neck School Board this year continuing her devotion to our community.  She will also continue her roles as Board Representative to Special Services, Board Representative to the District's Safety Team and Board Representative to the Westchester-Putnam School Board Association.

Deborah Aulfinger, Trustee 
Term Expires: 2020

Deborah Aulfinger has served on the Board of Education since May 2011 and is a familiar face in all four schools, showing her dedication to the district and its students by attending not only BOE and PTSA meetings and planning sessions, but school events.  Through more than a decade of service to the district -- on the Board, the PTSA and with local organizations, Deborah has developed a deep understanding of her community's needs and an unwavering commitment to smart financial planning that benefits Rye Neck's schools and it’s hard-working families.

Born and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, Deborah has called Rye Neck home for the past 26 years with her husband Erich, a Rye Neck graduate. They have two daughters Sara, 19 a Rye Neck graduate, and Ella, 12 who currently attends Rye Neck Middle School. Deborah is the Operations & Marketing Manager and a NYS Licensed Realtor at Stetson Real Estate in Mamaroneck.

Deborah has served as a Board Representative for the Committee on Special Education since 2011, as well as the Safety Group, Policy Committee, Facility Team and as a Board Liaison to the PTSA.  This year, Deborah will act again as a Board Representative for the Committee on Special Education and the Policy Committee.

Deborah has been an active school volunteer as a member of the PTSA since 2005.  She has served as head class mother, Co-Chair for Daniel Warren After School Clubs, Chair of the Annual Spring Fair, and, in 2007-2011, served on the PTSA Executive Committee as VP of fundraising.

Deborah is continually focused on making decisions that are financially smart, with an eye on long-term outcomes.  She believes it is this type of planning, long-term thinking and knowledge that will help the Rye Neck community as we face potentially difficult budgets and bonds in the future.

Gloria Golle, Trustee
Term Expires: 2022

Gloria is a life-long Rye Neck resident and alumna.  She holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Hofstra University.  Gloria and her husband Martin, a Rye Neck graduate, have two children presently in the District.

Gloria has been very active in Rye Neck since 2012, when she was class parent in her son's kindergarten class.  She served on the PTSA in various roles, beginning with membership from 2013-2015.  From 2016-2017, she moved to the PTSA Executive Committee as the Vice President for Daniel Warren.  Gloria was President of the PTSA for the district for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 school years.

 

In addition, Gloria served on the Food Service Committee and HEAC.  She has served on the elementary Principal Advisory Committee, the district's Programs and Priorities Committee, and the 2018 Capital Bond Facilities Advisory Committee, where she advocated for the shared needs of both the district and the community.  Gloria looks forward to her service to Rye Neck as a Board of Education Trustee.

Patty Nashelsky, Trustee
Term Expires: 2021

Patty is in her second term as Board Trustee.  She served as President for the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years.  She is currently the Board Representative to the BOCES Board, the Representative to and Director on the Westchester-Putnam School Board Association, and the Legislative Contact to the Westchester-Putnam School Board Legislative Committee.  She serves on the Audit Committee, Policy Committee and Facilities Team.

Patty graduated from Siena College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Political Science and Hofstra University School of Law.  She was a practicing attorney for 10 years before deciding to stay home to raise her four sons, two who are currently in 9th and 12th grades at Rye Neck and two of whom have graduated Rye Neck and gone on to college.

Steve Silva, Trustee
Term Expires: 2021

Steve Silva was elected to the Board of Education in 2018.  He moved from New York City to Rye Neck in 2011 with his wife Kristin, his daughter Natalie and his son Sam.  During the 2019-20 school year, Natalie will be in the seventh grade and Sam in the fifth grade.

Before joining the Board, Steve served a two-year term (2014-16) as a member of the Principal's Advisory Committee for Rye Neck's elementary schools. He was a member of the 2017 Facilities Advisory Committee, which provided community consultation to the Board of Education and school administration on major capital improvements currently underway in the District.  He also served as the Community Representative on the District's Audit Committee during the 2017-18 school year.

 

Steve has worked for most of his professional career as a corporate and financial communications consultant in the United States and in the Asia-Pacific region.  He was a senior executive for a number of international marketing and communications firms within the London-based WPP group of media companies.  He began his career in newspaper journalism and television production.

 

Steve received a B.A. in English from Providence College and an M.S. in Communications from Boston University.
